INSTITUTE OF SELF DEFENSE
We are a premier training center with Programs for children and adults.
We offer personal development and self defense through the study of the Martial Arts.
And using a one of a kind corrective program, we also teach children with challenges the skills they need to develop personal and functional normalcy.
INSTRUCTION THAT'S UNSURPASSED
Excellence in Martial Arts demands excellence in instruction. And that’s exactly what we deliver - all because of our one - of - kind branded program called PRESATORE®.
With PRESATORE® we give our students the needed guidance and instruction through martial arts training to optimize performance in self - defense and life, and achieve overall well – being.
In addition, through The PRESATORE® Program, we offer specialized services to children with childhood developmental disorders to normalize and optimize functionality by resolving learning, movement, and behavior challenges and dysfunctions.
Based on a lifetime study of Martial Arts and a professional expertise in Education and Biomedical Research and Development, PRESATORE® was developed by Dr. Paul Picciano, Founder and Master Instructor at ISD,
METHODICAL. PERSONALIZED. EMPOWERING.
Three words that summarize the philosophy and delivery of instruction at ISD and form the basis on which our branded style of teaching has become famous.
ISD emphasizes training at the highest mental and physical levels with personal development and self - defense (rather than fighting) as a primary objective, and for a wholistic use of the techniques and principles offered by Martial Arts for effectiveness and personal well - being in everyday life.
SERVING THE VALLEY SINCE 1982
